Our Policy
This is how we roll…….Policies and ExpectationsCLASS EXPECTATIONS: At My Musical Beginnings, we believe that you are your child’s best teacher, and we are here to help. Your active participation in class sets the tone for your child's musical journey. Sing, dance, and get silly alongside your little one, and remember, every child engages differently. Some may join right in, while others observe from your lap. Whatever their style, it's all part of the learning process. To fully immerse yourself in the experience, we kindly ask that you limit side conversation, texts, and phone calls during class. Together we will create powerful learning and memories one song at a time.
ENROLLMENT/WITHDRAWAL: Our classes run on an ongoing basis. Once you are enrolled with us, you are enrolled until you withdraw. Your billing date will depend on the first day of class. Please submit a written notification of withdrawal 7 days before your billing cycle and no further charges will be applied.
MAKE-UP CLASSES: Please try to attend the class that you registered for. No refunds will be given for missed classes; however, you are welcome to make up classes by attending another age-appropriate class at another time. Please schedule your make-up classes by emailing me. (mymusicalbeginnings@gmail.com) Make-up classes are subject to availability. Advanced notice for absences is appreciated.
CANCELLATIONS: Should My Musical Beginnings need to cancel a class due to illness, or emergency, or weather, a make-up class will be offered. We follow the Republic School District for weather-related closings. Should public health or safety concerns arise (i.e., Covid 19) we will quickly switch to an online platform to provide classes.
SIBLINGS AND VISITORS: Only enrolled siblings will be allowed in class. Siblings under one may attend at no additional charge, preferably in a carrier. There is a sibling discount if you would like your children to attend together. Due to class size restrictions, please email me if unenrolled siblings, spouses, partners, or adult relatives from out of town will be joining the class.
INCIDENT WAIVER: With your registration, you are agreeing to our waiver and have read all policies. This waiver releases Kelly Martin and My Musical Beginnings of all damages in the unlikely event of injury sustained by yourself, child(ren), or assigned caregivers as a result of attending/participating in these classes. You will hold Kelly Martin and My Musical Beginnings harmless for exposure to any unanticipated illnesses. You are responsible for informing any caregiver assigned or guests that you bring to class of this waiver.
