My Musical Beginnings-At Flourish Family Doulas
My Musical Beginnings and Flourish Family Doulas are excited to offer Kindermusik on a weekly basis at Flourish Family Doulas. Whether in the in relaxing yoga studios at 1136 W. Battlefield Rd, Springfield Missouri, or in the spacious green backyard you’re welcomed into a playful and nurturing environment where you and your child will experience the music of varying styles, genres, and cultures. They’ll interact with other children and engage in movement, rhythm, and vocal activities while you receive valuable child development information and encouragement from both teachers and moms in this loving and accepting community. We hope you will join My Musical Beginnings and the Flourish Family Doula tribe.
Our Policy
My Musical Beginnings Policies and WaiverENROLLMENT/REFUNDS: Our classes run on an ongoing basis. (With one month off during the summer) There is no need to wait for a new session to start. Once you are enrolled with us, you are enrolled until you withdraw. Make-up classes are encouraged. Extenuating circumstances will be considered on an individual basis. Should public health concerns arise (i.e., Covid 19) we will quickly switch to an online platform to provide classes.
WITHDRAWAL: When you are ready to withdraw from our program, submit a written notification via email before the 1st of the month. No further charges will be applied to your account and your withdrawal will be processed as of the 1st of the month. You are welcome to continue attending until your withdrawal at the end of the month.
MAKE-UP CLASSES: Please try to attend the class you registered for. No refunds will be given for missed classes; however, you are welcome to make-up classes. These can be arranged by attending another age-appropriate class at another time. E-mail me to see what classes we may have open. Schedule your make-up classes early as it is based on availability. If you know your child will be that absent, PLEASE let me know BEFORE your class so your space may be offered to another student week.
Class Cancellations: Should My Musical Beginnings need to cancel a class due to illness, emergency, or weather a make-up class will be offered. We follow Republic School District/Springfield School District for weather-related closings.
SIBLINGS: Only enrolled siblings will be allowed in class. There is a sibling discount if you would like your children to attend together. Siblings under one may attend at no additional charge( does not apply to foundations classes), preferably in a carrier. On occasion, older children may attend with a younger sibling if they can entertain themselves without disturbing the class. During sharing time all family members present can participate. Due to class size restrictions please email me if unenrolled siblings will be present. Spouses, partners, and adult relatives from out of town are welcome to join the class, with notification.
INCIDENT WAIVER: With your registration, you are agreeing to our waiver and have read all policies. This waiver releases Kelly Martin and My Musical Beginnings of all damages in the unlikely event of injury sustained by yourself, child(ren), or assigned caregivers as a result of attending/participating in classes. I will hold Kelly Martin and My Musical Beginnings harmless for exposure to unanticipated illnesses. You are responsible for informing any caregiver assigned or guests you bring to the class of this waiver.
